We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact. We guarantee that we will not sell or rent this information to any telemarketer. We will, however, share your name and address only (no other personal or financial information) to other mailers who may send you mail order offers from time to time.
We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us and to fulfill your request, e.g. ship an order or process your specific request.
Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.

Uploading Pictures

This is a family Web site. All uploaded pictures must be suitable for all groups and must not be offensive in content or implied image. Following are some types of picture that will not be acceptable:
- Pornographic or sexually explicit pictures (Violators will be referred to local Police)
- Pictures of someone else
- Non-people Pictures
- Computer generated Pictures
- Pictures of children or infants
- Pictures without a visible face
- Copyrighted Pictures
Sending Messages
You may send messages / greetings to any and all matrimonial members on the ApnaLife site with the following limitations:
- You may only send one message / greeting to any one member once per week. However, you may send one greeting to as many members as you like.
- You may only send a maximum of three greetings to any one member. If any member fails to respond to all three greetings, then you will be blocked from further communication with that member. The assumption will be that they are not interested, or you may not be the right match for him or her.
Receiving Messages
After receiving a greeting, you may want to do several things.
- You may wish to determine the suitability of a potential partner by viewing their profile. When this is done, an email will be sent to the person who sent the greeting notifying them that someone has viewed his or her profile. You will be identified in this email only by your screen name.
- You may decide that you are not interested in further contact by simply ignoring the greetings three consecutive times. This will stop any further greetings from that person.
- If you are interested, you can add him or her to your Favorites List. Once you are on each other's Favorites List, you can exchange unlimited emails with each other.
Using Your Favorites List
Free unlimited emails through the ApnaLife site are available only to users who are on each other's Favorites List. Consequently, if you are on someone's Favorites List, but they are not on yours, you can not exchange emails. To exchange emails with someone who places you on their Favorites List, simply add that person to your Favorites List. If you wish to request to be added to someone else's Favorites List, add them to your Favorites List and wait for them to add you back. You will be notified in an email when you are added to another member's Favorites List. You may or may not be added, of course, as that will be up to the other member.
Stopping Communication
You can delete someone from your Favorites List at any time and email privileges between the two of you will then be suspended. Email privileges will be restored if at any time you restore that person to your Favorites List. You may also block anyone at any time if you do not wish to receive greetings or messages from that person.
Report Harassment Immediately
If you receive messages that contain vulgar, explicit, violent, or harassing messages or language, report the sender to ApnaLife immediately and, if possible, attach the offending email(s).
Free Drawing
Free Entry Rules & policies
Your name will be automatically entered in ApnaLife’s 2.5 Lakh Rupee or 6,500 US Dollar (equivalent in any currency) drawing when you join and post a matrimonial profile or a job resume. Post both a matrimonial profile and resume to double your chances. Your name will also be entered in ApnaLife’s 5,000 Rupees weekly drawing.
Same person with multiple registrations will be disqualified for any drawing.
All drawing participants must have a completed matrimonial or resume / CV profile (one or the other or both) to be eligible to win in the ApnaLife weekly RS 5,000.00 drawing, or the Grand Prize drawing of 2.5 Lakh Rupees ($6,500.00 US Dollars). Each winner must provide a picture for ApnaLife promotional purposes.
ApnaLife, Inc. employees and relatives are not eligible. Odds will be determined by numbers of entries received. Last day of entry is December 31, 2009. Winners will be announced January 1, 2010. The 5,000 Rupees weekly (equivalent in any currency) drawings will end on December 31, 2008. Minimum of 50 new valid Matrimonial or Resume registrations are required for the 5,000 Rupees weekly drawing.
Your name will be used in other ApnaLife promotions unless you opt out of the drawings.
